Bio

 Married Sara Connelly in 1991. She works for Educational Service Unit #1 as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher and has been in teaching since 1992. We have two great kids. Rebecca (1993) has been accepted into the RHOP program and will attend Wayne State College in 2011 (Biology/Pre-dentistry) and then UNMC after that. Ryan (1999) loves anything that involves a ball, and is our head animal trainer. We also have two pets...Sasha (cat) rules the house, and Bailey (dog) was recently certified as a therapy dog so she and I will be spending time working with people in nursing homes, hospitals, libraries, schools, etc. We moved from Holdrege to Wayne in 1997 for my teaching job. Been teaching 2nd grade since then. I coach high school boys and girls track (high jump and sprinters). During the school year, I am the public address announcer for all Wayne High sports except football, and for Wayne State College volleyball and men/women basketball. I finished my Masters degree through Wayne State in 2006 and Sara finished hers in 2009. In the summer I help coach baseball, and we spend as much time as we can camping and boating.
